Qualifications

• A recognised accounting degree or diploma (BCom Accounting) with professional articles completed.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency with SA tax concepts, VAT and PAYE.
• Experience with Sage Evolution, Pastel or Xero accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end and interim financial results and support audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly reporting across entities.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure SARS compliance.
• Conduct VAT and income tax reconciliations and CIPC returns.
• Oversee supplier payments, invoicing and payroll-related tasks.
• Monitor operational costs and assist with cost allocation and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with depot and operations teams to provide financial information.
• Identify and implement process improvements in controls and finance functions.
• Support the Financial Manager with accounting and reporting projects.
