Ideally you have a BCom or equivalent and at least 5 years in logistics or manufacturing, with strong Excel, Sage Evolution, and IDU Reporting experience. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Exposure to financial management and creditors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger and cost analysis.
• Oversee monthly close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement and maintain reconciliations (balance sheet, creditors, intercompany) and resolve aged transactions.
• Prepare and manage journals, fixed asset register, finance charges, and vehicle asset finance transactions.
• Process supplier invoices, intercompany transactions, COD claims, and salary invoices.
• Manage inventory reconciliations and related journals.
• Support AP & AR teams with queries and documentation.
• Conduct cost analysis, prepare management reports, and lead branch review meetings.
• Handle VAT submissions, tax administration, and liaise with auditors for year-end and IFRS compliance.
• Collect KPIs for business scorecard finalisation.
• Maintain cashbook transactions and ensure payment accuracy.
• Assist with annual budget preparation and re-forecasting.
• Identify issues, design solutions, and improve internal control procedures.
• Drive process improvements through dashboards, BI reporting, and enhanced finance processes.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
