Job summary

ninety9cents in Cape Town is seeking an organised Client Relationship Manager to maintain day-to-day client contacts and lead campaign workflow from concept through delivery.

You will drive status meetings, manage the promotional calendar, and develop deep client insights to meet objectives while ensuring quality and timely delivery across channels.

Client Relationship Management

• Manage day-to-day client relationships as a trusted, dependable contact
• Lead status meetings and manage the promotional calendar with the client
• Develop deep understanding of each client and their objectives

• Accurate contact reports of meetings.

Campaign & Workflow Management

• Manage a campaign job flow end to end
• Ensure briefs are accurate, complete and correctly prioritised
• Drive on-time, on-spec delivery across all formats and channels
• Maintain workflow discipline and accurate job status in Magnetic
• Create detailed project plans
• Work effectively with internal teams and external agency partners to achieve campaign objectives within deadline time

Quality & Brand Custodianship

• Take accountability for accuracy of pricing, copy and mechanics
• Uphold brand CI consistency across the portfolio
• Ensure proofing and reconciliation discipline is followed
• Prevent errors, reprints and rework through close oversight
• Embed quality standards within the team

Financial Management

• Manage cost estimates and ensure timely billing
• Monitor job profitability and manage scope actively of project and retainer clients
• Track budgets and flag over-servicing early
• Monthly account reconciliations

Team Development & Coordination

• Work closely with internal teams
• Provide clear & constructive feedback
• Drive accountability and proactive behaviour within the team
