Job summary

Amazon's South Africa marketplace seeks an Operations Excellence Manager to own how 3P channels operate, drive key metrics end to end, and build scalable data systems. You will work with ZA fulfilment, seller teams, and worldwide programmes to ensure optimal seller and customer experiences.

You will transform manual processes into scalable mechanisms, balance speed and cost, and influence decisions with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain, or logistics.
• 3+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience with SQL and advanced Excel.
• Experience working with large, complex data sets.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, advertising, or logistics.
• Experience with external partners such as carriers, 3PLs or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own core 3P fulfilment metrics end to end with definitions and data sources.
• Monitor and improve 3P operational metrics like availability, in‑stock rate and delivery speed.
• Run and improve standing operational mechanisms and reviews.
• Support worldwide programme launches with ZA inputs and enforcement design.
• Build and own the 3P reporting layer with dashboards and feeds.
• Diagnose defects and drive fixes with owners (sellers, carriers, FCs).
• Own the 3P inbound interface with carriers and FCs; optimise cost and profitability.
• Write BRDs, BI reports, and leadership‑level insights.
