UCC Holding is seeking a Director, Upstream Finance to provide financial leadership for Venezuela's upstream oil and gas operations. You will own budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and project economics, partnering with asset teams and executive leadership to drive profitability and strategic decision-making.

You will lead a team, oversee complex capital projects, and ensure governance while collaborating with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Commercial, and Operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
• CPA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 15 years finance experience with significant leadership in oil & gas.
• Strong experience in upstream oil and gas operations, including E&P asset finance and project economics.
• Experience with joint ventures or partner-operated assets.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modelling, investment appraisal, and performance management.
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and BI platforms.
• Fluency in English; Spanish would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for upstream operations in Venezuela.
• Monitor and analyse production, OPEX, CAPEX, cash flow, and profitability.
• Evaluate exploration, development, and production projects through financial analysis.
• Develop economic models, business cases, and project investment proposals.
• Identify cost savings and efficiency improvements with asset teams.
• Support JV and partner management, budgets, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and governance requirements.
• Provide insights and recommendations to CFO and executives.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Lead and develop the finance team supporting Venezuela operations.
