Shell in Venezuela seeks an experienced Environmental Advisor to support permitting, regulatory compliance, monitoring and environmental management for offshore and onshore projects in Venezuela.

The senior role requires deep knowledge of the Venezuelan oil and gas regulatory framework, leadership across environmental studies, and effective coordination with authorities, contractors and project teams.

Formación

• University degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemical/Civil/Industrial Engineering
• 7+ years in environmental permitting, compliance, studies, monitoring and regulatory assurance
• Strong familiarity with Venezuelan oil and gas regulatory landscape

Responsabilidades

• Support environmental permitting, submissions, and regulatory follow-up for project activities
• Coordinate environmental baseline studies, monitoring programs and data management
• Oversee contractor environmental plans, audits and field readiness
• Contribute to environmental reporting and stakeholder communications
• Provide field-based environmental oversight during offshore and onshore activities
• Assist with environmental risk identification and mitigation planning
