Airswift is seeking an Accounting Senior for a leading Oil & Gas company in Venezuela. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Caracas, focusing on financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and corporate reporting support.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, IFRS proficiency, ERP and advanced Excel skills, and fluency in Spanish with strong English as a plus. JV and oil & gas exposure highly valued.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent Spanish required, advanced English desirable.
• Oil & Gas industry experience and Joint Venture exposure preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Support corporate reporting and financial consolidation requirements.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Analyze OPEX, CAPEX, fixed assets, and Joint Venture accounting activities.
• Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Finance teams.

Airswift is searching for an Accounting Senior to join a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector in Venezuela.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and corporate reporting support.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes
