Veta Virtual is hiring an Accounting Manager for a fast-moving roofing company. You will own the full accounting cycle, from close to reporting, with a hands-on, remote-first approach.

Based in LATAM or Europe, you will lead job costing, implement strong controls, and coordinate with outside CPAs. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, AI tools, and integration of external apps is expected.

Formación

• 5 to 7+ years of accounting experience with US-based companies, including full-cycle ownership.
• CPA license or the equivalent local accounting credential is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Experience coordinating with outside CPA firms at tax time.
• Construction or home services accounting experience is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own the full accounting cycle for roofing and construction operations, including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and reporting to leadership.
• Deliver monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements on a reliable schedule.
• Oversee job costing and WIP across active projects and surface profit trends for leadership.
• Own percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing across residential and commercial projects.
• Lead integration of outside tools with QuickBooks Online to improve accounting operations.
• Prepare complete books for external CPA firm and support annual tax filings.
• Guide the work of accounting staff and partner with leadership on budgeting and cash flow planning.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies as the business grows.
