• Sort and screen all incoming mail into designated mail slot and plan distribution according to assigned route.
• Scan and track all received mail and parcel deliveries.
• Input messenger deliveries in our tracking system, including outgoing FedEx, UPS and DHL.
• Responsible for the delivery of all interoffice mail, incoming mail via USPS, and parcels throughout the day.
• Responsible for completing two runs a day (8:00am and 2pm), within 90 minutes.
• Maintain route information by keeping names on mail slots current and updated.
• Address and resolve all “unknown” (not listed in directory, no building/room number, illegible name, etc) mail daily.
• All trades, ratings, and newspaper lists are to remain current.
• Maintain the integrity and cleanliness of the mailroom.
• Back fill and run route for other messengers in their absence.
• May be asked to perform other duties/tasks, as needed by management.

• Valid CA driver’s license to operate electric cart on the property.
• 0-1+ years of experience.

• Must be able to carry weights up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy loads (up to 75 lbs) using a push cart/dolly.
• Computer skills/knowledge.
• Previous mailroom experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Great teammate.
• Must have good attention to detail.

Hiring Salary Range: $40,000.00 - 45,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
