We are building next-gen NPI onboarding and workflow automation to maintain our large fleet, support new technologies like ML pods, and integrate with complex manufacturing and supply chain operations.

We need a Software Engineering Manager who can quickly ramp on a distributed system, create stakeholder buy-in, and drive their team to deliver meaningful impact.

In this role, you will lead a team building for our next-generation data center resource modeling platform, which will manage Google-wide fleet onboarding and deployment. This is a critical system for planning future capacity, modeling the data center, and managing the machine life-cycle at scale while reducing operational costs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Facilitate collaboration and open communication.
• Build a foundation for a new fulfillment ecosystem.
• Work with partners to determine optimal processes to support Google Cloud's growth.
• Define the goal for our team and execute our team\'s roadmap.
• Invest in each Googler’s development by mentoring and developing team members on technical and non-technical skills to create a high-functioning, high-trust team.

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects.
• 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
