Job summary

The Houston Zoo is seeking a Membership Representative who will deliver exceptional guest service while supporting the Membership department. The role involves cashiering, processing membership sales, accurate data entry, and secure handling of payments in line with financial policies.

The position requires weekend and holiday work. You will engage with guests, manage records in Galaxy and CRM Plus, and contribute to museum programs and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2 years in high-volume customer service operations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with members and guests via phone, email, and in person to provide accurate information about memberships, programming, visitation, and products.
• Delivers exceptional customer service aligned with departmental standards and the Zoo’s values.
• Participates in data management and record-keeping via Galaxy and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Plus.
• Promotes and sells memberships on a rotating schedule across departments.
