Job summary

Tulsa Zoo Management, Inc. in Tulsa, OK, seeks an Operations Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day construction projects, coordinate contractors, and ensure budgets and schedules are met.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities and Construction, this role supervises the Facilities and Fleet Supervisors, ensures safety, maintains assets in CMMS, and supports board reporting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field and 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience managing active construction budgets of $100K or greater is preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead active construction projects up to a defined budget threshold with contractor coordination.
• Serve as operational liaison for contractors, design professionals, and permitting authorities.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications with timely reporting.
• Monitor schedules and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
• Ensure all projects are permitted, inspected, and closed out per codes.
• Prioritize facilities and fleet resources to keep construction on track.
• Supervise Facilities and Fleet Supervisors and oversee maintenance in line with schedules.
• Operate or direct operation of heavy and light equipment as needed and ensure safety.
• Maintain CMMS asset data, track inventory, and support budget tracking.
• Assist with safety protocols, SOPs, and department budget objectives.
