The Department Zone Lead in a high-speed manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs oversees production within a defined zone to meet targets, quality, and safety standards. You will lead a team on a rotating 12-hour shift, coordinating with maintenance and other zones to optimize flow and implement Lean/Six Sigma approaches.

The role emphasizes coaching, training, and continuous improvement, with a focus on safety and quality while maintaining accurate records and performance reporting.

Formación

• Experience in a high-speed production environment.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with lean manufacturing practices desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and prioritize production activities within the designated zone.
• Lead a team of production workers and operators within the zone.
• Ensure schedules are adhered to and products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance and other zone leads to optimize production flow.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures and safety protocols.
• Prepare and present reports on production performance and KPIs.
