Job summary

The Step2 Company, Llc in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a Zone Cell Lead for C and D Shift. This full-time position oversees assembly operations and mentors team members to achieve production and quality goals.

You will coordinate with Supervisors, Quality, Shipping, and other departments, ensure work instructions are followed, and drive Lean practices to improve efficiency and safety across the cell.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years of related experience in a job training and/or mentoring others preferred.
• Ability to communicate, make decisions, and follow all company policies.

Responsibilities

• Work with Supervisors, Quality Department, Shipping, and Roto to ensure production & quality goals.
• Enter and repair all Roto parts from the cell that need to be fixed.
• Label and identify all components properly.
• Verify that all Work Instructions are on the lines and current.
• Coach and mentor employees in the area.
• Stock components to assembly lines from supermarket.
• Organize Work Centers using Lean/Agile concepts to improve productivity and quality.
• Delegate job assignments within the cell/zone.
