Job summary

The Step2 Company in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a Zone Cell Lead for C and D Shifts to lead and coordinate assembly line activities for plastics toys and consumer products.

Responsibilities include ensuring production and quality goals, mentoring employees, organizing work centers using lean approaches, and coordinating with supervisors and departments.

This is a full-time, on-site role with hourly pay between $20 and $22.

Qualifications

• Must have good listening skills and multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to communicate, make decisions, have good judgement and follow company policies.
• Two to three years related experience in a job training and/or mentoring others, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate activities to meet production and quality goals.
• Enter and repair all parts from the cell that need fixing.
• Label and identify all components correctly.
• Ensure Work Instructions (WI’s) are on the lines and are current.
• Organize the Work Centers using Lean / Agile concepts to boost productivity and safety.
• Coach and mentor employees located in the area that need help.
• Stock components to assembly lines from supermarket.
