Job summary

Cox is seeking a Vehicle Lot Associate in Belcamp, MD to organize and stage vehicles in designated zones, using dashboards to optimize movements and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will label, track, and communicate inventory status, while complying with all safety policies.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED (or higher), a valid driver’s license, the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency in a dynamic outdoor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience, or equivalent combo including higher level degree/certification.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify issues (flat tires, low gas, jump-starts).
• Outdoor/walking duties and standing for prolonged periods are required.
• Commitment to Cox/Manheim values and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vehicle placement within the designated zone or move area.
• Use Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to make move decisions and stage zones.
• Contribute to safety and efficiency improvements for vehicle movement.
• Move and stage vehicles safely to proper work destinations to optimize loads.
• Ensure vehicles operate safely and engage service/tow teams for inoperable units.
• Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to track movements.
• Communicate inventory status and priorities with crew leaders and managers.
• Adhere to company policies and model Cox/Manheim values.
