Job summary

Day shift, on-site work at a Cox location with hourly pay and potential incentives; requires a valid driver's license and basic mechanical knowledge. Pre-employment drug test may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience.
• Or equivalent combination: degree/certification beyond HS or 5 years’ related field experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive both standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for identifying issues (flat tires, low gas, jump-starts).

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain placement of vehicles within designated zone or move area to standard set by lot ops leadership.
• Use Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to make move decisions daily for your zone.
• Pursue continuous safety and efficiency improvements in vehicle movement in your area.
• Move and stage vehicles safely to proper destinations to reduce multiple drop-offs and underloads.
• Confirm vehicles can operate safely and engage service/tow teams for inoperable vehicles.
• Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to ensure accurate movements.
• Communicate with crew leaders and managers about inventory levels and priorities.
• Model Cox/Manheim values and ensure respectful treatment of employees and customers.
• Follow all company policies and safety health procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
