Job summary

Cox Automotive in the USA is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II for the day shift to orient and instruct new drivers and coordinate vehicle movements across the lot. You will work with supervision to maintain stock logs and drive lanes on sale days.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds. You will lead safety-focused operations and participate in daily maintenance and parking logistics.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying common vehicle issues.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers and assist supervisor in directing work.
• Communicate with supervisor to assure proper flow of vehicles and maintain stock logs.
• Lead as lane leader on sale days and coordinate move requirements with lot manager.
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of employees and vehicles to proper destinations.
• Perform daily van maintenance and safety procedures; model safety behaviors.
