Cox Automotive is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II to organize and move vehicles within a defined zone. This on-site role requires attention to safety, daily decision-making using dashboards, and coordination with crews to ensure efficient vehicle flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3+ years related field experience, or 5 years in related field.
• Valid driver's license required and ability to drive both standard and automatic transmissions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify issues like flat tires, low gas, or jump-starts.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vehicle placement within designated zone per lot operations leadership.
• Use Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards daily to make move decisions for your zone.
• Contribute to safety and efficiency improvements in vehicle movement.
• Move and stage vehicles to correct destinations to optimize loads and reduce drops.
• Label and track vehicles to ensure accurate movements and reduce rework.
• Communicate inventory status to crew leaders and managers to prioritize work.
