Job summary

The Summit Bechtel Reserve is hiring a Zip Ride operator to provide a safe, fun and engaging zip ride experience for guests. You will support training, fit guests with harnesses, and supervise equipment while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, communicating concerns, and modeling Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions. This role requires outdoor physical work and teamwork within a dynamic guest environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age: 18+.
  • Preferred: Experience guiding/facilitating and managing others while at-height (6'-180').
  • Body weight between 50-250 as per the manufacture's requirement for participation.
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening).
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication.

Position Overview

Physical & Practical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 9 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds
  • Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
  • Housing: 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours: 45-55

Salary: $1600 - $1700 per month
