Job summary

Conservation Corps North Bay in Novato, CA seeks a Zero Waste Supervisor to lead reduce/recycle initiatives, oversee Corpsmember teams, and coordinate community events. You will train youth, ensure safe, efficient routes, and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. This position offers full-time employment with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include a valid California driver's license and ability to meet CCNB driving requirements.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, and motivating young adults from diverse backgrounds is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead zero waste collection routes and community events safely and efficiently.
• Provide training on safety, technical, customer service, recycling, and outreach to Corpsmembers.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, time punches, and project data.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and mentor Corpsmembers on professional development.
