Job summary

Kyungshin-Lear Sales and Engineering LLC in Montgomery, AL seeks a Quality Engineer to drive systemic, closed-loop quality resolution and continuous improvement. You will follow up on countermeasures at the OEM site, address Customer and Headquarters findings, and establish a standardized audit system across facilities to ensure a Zero-Defect mindset.

Responsibilities include validating countermeasures, tracking quality findings, and leading product validations for Facelift and New Vehicle

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Automotive Quality or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison at the OEM to verify effectiveness of countermeasures.
• Track, investigate, and resolve quality findings from Customer and Headquarters.
• Manage Part Quality for Facelift and New Vehicle Launch through validations.
• Lead early-stage involvement with Product Engineering to embed quality standards.
• Establish a Lessons Learned database covering past problems across Design, Assembly, Components.
• Drive cross-plant standardization of corrective actions across the regional network.
• Review containment data and CAPA reports to ensure systemic root causes are addressed.
