Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Mass General Hospital is seeking a Research Lab Tech I to maintain laboratory equipment, prepare samples, perform experiments, and record data. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 1–2 years of lab experience is preferred, with familiarity in zebrafish and cryobiology considered a plus.

Hybrid work location at 51 Blossom Street. 40 hours weekly, Day shift, with pay range $21–$29.01 hourly and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of prior laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with zebrafish experimentation or cryobiology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory experiments following established protocols.
• Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and solutions with accuracy and safety.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine calibration.
• Record experimental data and maintain organized records of procedures and results.
• Analyze data using appropriate statistical methods and present findings.
• Contribute to data interpretation and research reports.
