Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Pontiac, MI plant. You will perform initial visual quality inspections of metal stampings, ensure correct packaging, and accurately record data in the Plex system. This role supports daily production goals and requires adherence to quality standards.

You will reference JES and production orders, operate within a team, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment. This is a 5:00PM-5:00AM shift, with weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to safely perform duties.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial visual quality inspections of metal stampings.
• Efficiently package products in appropriate containers to meet customer requirements.
• Record inspection data in the Plex system and support production activities.
• Refer to production orders and JES to weld products as required.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area; support shift as needed.
