Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform initial visual inspections of metal stampings and efficiently package parts for shipment. The role supports production by inspecting parts, updating Plex records, and assisting with other production tasks to maintain workflow and schedules.

Candidates should have high school graduation and prefer at least six months in manufacturing. The job requires lifting up to 60 pounds, standing for long periods, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English to perform duties.
• Six-month manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and handle heavier loads with assistance.
• Demonstrates safety awareness and good housekeeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual quality inspections of metal stampings and assist with packaging to meet customer requirements.
• Reference production orders in Plex and weld product per JES instructions.
• Load/unload and move parts weighing up to 60 pounds; assist with heavier objects as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and support multiple work centers to meet production schedules.
• Complete operator inspection sheets and document inspection results to ensure quality standards are met.
