Job summary

Ptm-Corporation in Fair Haven, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join the manufacturing team on the 1st shift. You will perform inspections, document results in Plex, read blueprints and GD&T, and collaborate with production to ensure stamped metal parts meet quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years in quality inspection, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while working on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a metal stamping/manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T preferred.
• Experience using Plex or a similar manufacturing/quality management system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete Plex check sheets and quality documentation.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and last-off inspections in Plex.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Use inspection equipment and measuring devices to monitor product quality.
• Complete daily Plex quality activity check sheets and end-of-shift quality notes.
• Communicate quality concerns with production, supervisors, and other team members.
• Support production in identifying, containing, and resolving quality issues.
