Job summary

HRB seeks a Senior Z/OS Architect to lead mainframe systems programming in a hybrid Pittsburgh role. You will architect, install, upgrade, and tune the Z/OS OS for a 24x7 global environment, delivering fixes and leading-edge Z/OS tech.

The position requires heavy problem determination, disaster recovery focus, and on-site presence 2 days per week with remote capability. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Senior level Z/OS Architect with Z/OS systems programming expertise.
• Expertise in problem determination and disaster recovery.
• Experience architecting, installing, upgrading and tuning Z/OS for a global 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Senior Z/OS Architect with Z/OS systems programming expertise.
• Architect, install, upgrade, and tune the Z/OS operating system for a global 24x7 environment.
• Demonstrate heavy problem determination and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Provide Z/OS fixes and leverage leading-edge Z/OS technologies (e.g., Z14).
