Job summary

DSN is seeking a z/OS Senior Level Systems Programmer-Architect to architect, install, upgrade, and tune the z/OS operating system for a global (24x7) environment. The role requires expert problem determination and disaster recovery capabilities on mainframe platforms. The position offers an annual bonus program and hybrid work with required on-site presence 2x per week.

Qualifications

• Senior z/OS architect with extensive mainframe experience.
• Experience installing, upgrading, and tuning z/OS for 24x7 global environments.
• Strong disaster recovery expertise and problem-diagnosis skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, upgrade, and tune the z/OS operating system for a global (24x7) environment.
• Lead heavy problem determination and fixes for z/OS.
• Provide disaster recovery planning and execution support.
