Job summary

Shaker Heights Public Library is seeking a Substitute Library Associate to join the Youth Services team at the Main Library and Bertram Woods Branch. You will assist youth patrons with reference questions, readers’ advisory services, and technology in a diverse community.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and familiarity with online databases, with flexible days, evenings, and weekend hours. This position is not benefits eligible and emphasizes equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with reference desk library experience is required.
