Job summary

Coesia North America is seeking a Procurement Specialist for its Young Professionals Program (YPP). You will support the Procurement team to optimize value across quality, service, risk, supplier innovation, and cost while driving continuous improvement through spend, supplier collaboration, and cross‑functional partnerships.

Based in the United States, this role involves learning through rotations, participating in RFPs/RFQs, and advancing VAVE, make vs buy, and supplier quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to persuade, motivate, and align support for key ideas and initiatives.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and exhibit good judgment and decision-making.
• Demonstrates a high level of motivation with a track record of pursuing and achieving goals.
• Data-driven with ability to analyze information and make solid recommendations.
• Willingness to travel to suppliers and sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFP and RFQ packages to obtain supplier bids.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance to achieve Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE), Make vs. Buy, and Supplier Quality goals.
• Research potential suppliers to assess capabilities, culture, capacity, and commercial strategy.
• Support supplier performance evaluations to improve supply chain competitiveness.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify trends and opportunities across the supply base.
• Shape procurement category strategies and align internal stakeholders to them.
• Develop supplier agreements and contracts to optimize cash flow, inventory requirements, lead times, and capacity.
• Support lifecycle of projects from PO to final customer site acceptance and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in inventory analysis to optimize financial and operational performance.
• Review commodity and market reports to understand supply conditions.
