Job summary

G.D S.p.A, a Coesia company, invites you to join its Young Professionals Program as Procurement Specialist in North America. This 2‑year rotational program provides structured training to develop high-potential early career professionals.

You will support the procurement team to optimize value across quality, service, risk, supplier innovation, and cost, collaborating with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and other groups to drive results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to persuade, motivate, and align support for key ideas and initiatives, and prepare clear and concise oral and written discussions and presentations.
• Ability to balance and manage multiple complicated priorities and exhibit good judgment and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrates a high level of motivation with a track record of pursuing and achieving goals.
• Skill in using data and information analyses to draw conclusions and make solid recommendations.
• Able to travel as needed to suppliers, company sites, and other destinations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement to optimize value in Quality, Service, Risk, Supplier Innovation, and Cost.
• Handle requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for quotes (RFQ) to obtain supplier bids.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and Group Procurement to achieve Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE), Make vs. Buy, and Supplier Quality goals.
• Research potential suppliers to assess capabilities, culture, capacity, and fit.
• Support supplier performance evaluations to improve supply chain competitiveness.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify trends and opportunities across the supply base.
• Shape Procurement Category Strategies and align internal stakeholders.
• Assist in developing supplier agreements and contracts to optimize cash flow and lead times.
• Support project life cycle from PO to site acceptance and ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist in inventory analysis to improve financial and operational performance.
