Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in YouTube, social media, or related field.
• Proven experience developing and executing YouTube channel strategy for a brand or publisher.
• Deep knowledge of YouTube channel operations, metadata, search, thumbnails, and best practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing agencies/vendors.

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve the YouTube channel strategy across content pillars and publishing approach.
• Translate priorities into an integrated YouTube content calendar.
• Lead channel performance management across impressions, CTR, views, watch time, engagement, and revenue.
• Optimize titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists, and metadata.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution with creative, production, social, merchandising, paid media, and analytics.
• Use YouTube Studio and analytics to identify opportunities and diagnose performance issues.
• Present channel performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
