Versant Sports, part of VERSANT Media, is hiring a Freelance Digital Video Producer/Editor (PEP) to join our fast-paced sports video editorial team in Stamford, CT. You will create and edit digital-first content for YouTube, our website and social platforms, meeting tight deadlines and applying strong sports storytelling and Adobe Creative Suite skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience producing sports digital video content end-to-end for digital platforms.
Excellent expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects) and writing skills.
Ability to work under extremely tight deadlines and post to YouTube.
Creative thinker who can translate sports/trends into digital stories.

Responsibilities

Create original digital video content for YouTube and social accounts, focusing on Golf.
Cut highlights during live events; write headlines, captions and metadata for optimization.
Edit content in Adobe Creative Suite with branded templates.
Produce guest interviews, field shoots and live streams as needed.
Collaborate with social/editorial teams for edits and VOD.
