VERSANT Media in Stamford, CT is seeking a Part-Time Freelance Social Media Coordinator to join our Sports digital team. This role covers day-to-day content planning, ideation and distribution for golf-focused platforms, with potential exposure to Premier League, basketball, NASCAR, and more.

The position is project-based, up to 6 months, with days mainly Thursday through Sunday and non-traditional hours to cover golf events.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media or related field.

Responsibilities

• Live coverage of golf (Thu–Sun) with non-traditional hours.
• Clip segments from live events in real time.
• Coordinate with video producers to identify content for social distribution.
• Maintain voice and content standards across platforms.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to create shareable content.
• Contribute ideas to boost engagement and video views.
• Support on-site content creation with talent and production teams.
• Juggle multiple projects with parallel timelines.
