Job summary

Nooksack Indian Tribe is seeking a CD Prevention Youth and Young Adult Support Worker in Everson, WA. You will deliver prevention services to youth and families under supervision, helping empower youth with prevention tools to reduce drug and alcohol use and promote health and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to community youth and young adults through referrals, in homes, schools, and programs
• Complete an initial intake of youth and young adults to enroll in NWOL Programs
• Schedule and support caseload meetings to ensure progress and outcomes
• Maintain ongoing documentation on each client file
• Regularly monitor youth participation in prevention activities
• Establish trusting relationships with youth and young adults
• Collaborate with professionals from other departments and organizations
• Respond to crises and provide access to support services
• Attend training and perform administrative tasks
• Contribute to a safe, respectful environment for youth, families, and community
• Chaperone overnight conferences and events as needed
