Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Lived experience navigating adolescent behavioral health system within past 10 years; recovery experience beneficial.
• Virginia Peer Recovery Specialist certification preferred; in good standing.
• Complete VA DBHDS approved certification course within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Engage youth in the High-Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) process.
• Gather information from youth about strengths and challenges.
• Prepare youth for team meetings and connect them with natural and community supports.
• Help youth express their voice and share their experiences.
