Job summary

AMIkids in Florida seeks a Participant Workforce Coordinator to develop and maintain workforce opportunities for participants, linking them with community resources to support education and career goals.

You will recruit participants and employers, coordinate job placements, monitor transitions to work or further schooling, and maintain records and plans to track progress. This role requires collaboration, strong organization, and the ability to work with youth and partners.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent.
• Two years of relevant experience in workforce development or job placement preferred.
• Experience working with youth is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using a case management system (e.g. LAURIS) a plus.
• Ability to work well collaboratively and independently.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Recruit individuals (participants, employers, and community constituents) for AMIkids Workforce Development Program and provide employment opportunities to participants.
• Partner with Participant Employment Coordinator to identify appropriate employment opportunities; may include job placement, job shadowing, service-learning projects, transportation, workshops, and informational meetings.
• Follow up with participants' transitions to jobs or further education and address barriers.
• Develop Individual Service Plans (ISS/ISP) for each participant based on strengths.
• Maintain participant files and documentation per program contracts and AMIkids manuals.
• Prepare attendance records, progress reports, case notes, and related materials for employment activities.
• Submit timely reports and summarize key activities and achievements.
