Job summary

AMIkids Inc. Bay County is seeking a Job Placement Coordinator to develop strategies that align with grant outcomes and build relationships with local and national employers to place youth in opportunities.

You will work across teams to identify placement needs and match youth to suitable positions. Your role includes recruiting sponsors and youth, maintaining partnerships, and tracking placement progress, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Three years’ applicable experience; preferred in recruitment and community involvement.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Intermediate Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Entry Level Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or implement the strategy to attract employer sponsors and participants to participate in Workforce Development and apprenticeship programs.
• Recruit employer sponsors and youth to participate in the program(s).
• Partner with team members to identify placement needs and appropriate job match.
• Maintain long term relationships with local and national employers to build a pipeline of ongoing job placement partnerships; establish monthly communication with each employer.
