Job summary

AMIkids Orlando is seeking a Job Placement Coordinator (TEMP) to develop and implement strategies aligning with grant outcomes and to build ongoing relationships with local and national employers for youth job placements.

The role runs until September 30, 2026, with potential extension. Responsibilities include recruiting employer sponsors, coordinating with teams to match placements, and monitoring grant-related outcomes and compliance.

Qualifications

• Three years of applicable experience; preferred in recruitment and community involvement.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Intermediate Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Entry Level Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy to attract employer sponsors and participants to Workforce Development and/or apprenticeship programs.
• Recruit employer sponsors and youth to participate in the program(s).
• Partner with team members to identify placement needs and appropriate job matches.
• Maintain long-term relationships with local and national employers to build a pipeline of ongoing job placement partnerships; establish monthly communication with each employer.
