AMIkids in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Job Placement Coordinator for a 4-month temporary assignment to align with grant outcomes and to build ongoing relationships with local and national employers for youth and apprentices.

Key duties include recruiting employer sponsors and participants, matching opportunities to job qualifications, maintaining monthly placement reports, ensuring grant compliance, and supporting safety training and transport as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required, bachelor's preferred.
• Three years' applicable experience; recruitment/community involvement preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy to attract employer sponsors and participants to programs.
• Recruit employer sponsors and youth to participate in the programs.
• Partner with team members to identify placement needs and job matches.
• Maintain long-term relationships with employers to build a pipeline of opportunities and monthly communications.
• Coordinate resources to attract opportunities and educate youth on searching for jobs.
• Understand job qualifications by employer and position.
• Monitor placements, track progress, and obtain feedback from employers.
• Respond promptly to business development inquiries.
• Monitor and produce monthly reports on placements and partnerships.
• Ensure grant-related outcomes are met and address compliance issues.
• Understand and monitor employment laws related to youth employment.
• Operate institute vehicles as required and transport youth when needed.
• Attend crisis intervention, de-escalation, CPR and First Aid training as required.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
