AMIkids Inc. is seeking a Participant Workforce Coordinator for AMIkids Clay in Green Cove Springs, FL.

The role focuses on developing workforce opportunities for program participants and serving as a bridge to the local community to achieve educational and employment goals. You will recruit participants and employers, coordinate with the Employment Coordinator, and support participants’ transitions into jobs or further education while maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with

Qualifications

• Two (2) years relevant experience, Workforce Development training and/or job placement preferred.
• Experience working with youth is a plus.
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience using various technology applications and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience working with a case management system (i.e. LAURIS) is a plus.
• Ability to work well collaboratively as well as independently.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to speak and connect well with different audiences for different purposes.

Responsibilities

• Recruit individuals to participate in AMIkids Workforce Development Program and provide employment opportunities to participants.
• Partner with Participant Employment Coordinator to identify appropriate employment opportunities for each participant; may include job placement, job shadowing, and service-learning projects.
• Follow up with participant’s transition to jobs and post-secondary programs; resolve barriers.
• Develop and maintain Individual Service Plans (ISS/ISP) for each participant.
• Maintain all participant files and ensure documentation is current per program contracts.
• Prepare and maintain attendance records, services, case notes, and other written materials.
• Submit required reports timely and write reports summarizing key activities and achievements.
• Coordinate and oversee volunteers related to workforce development tasks/projects.
