Job summary

YWCA of Syracuse and Onondaga County Inc. seeks a Workforce Advisor to lead year-round workforce development programming at the center.

You will maintain a caseload of at least 25 participants ages 16-24 and help them develop life skills, access services, and pursue local job opportunities. The role requires planning and delivering workshops, documenting progress, coordinating with partners, and supporting participants with transportation for program activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and implement program activities for youth and young adults.
• Experience managing a caseload of 25+ participants.
• Strong skills in life skills development and workforce readiness.
• Ability to document and report progress accurately within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan for development and implementation of program activities.
• Prepare case notes and develop service plans for participants.
• Manage all required documentation for program operation.
• Develop workshops and training activities for participants.
• Transport participants to appointments, interviews, and related activities.
• Maintain supplies and materials for program operations.
• Participate in trainings and contribute to ongoing program improvement.
• Review procedures to ensure current compliance with policies.
