Job summary

The Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is seeking a Program Specialist to coordinate employment readiness workshops and provide career counseling as part of the YAWL Workforce Development Program for youth ages 16–24.

Under supervision of the Program Coordinator, you will develop curriculum, lead workshops, provide 1:1 guidance, and connect participants with resources and employers to build work readiness and placement success.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and facilitate job readiness training workshops (e.g., resume, interview, job search).
• Provide 1:1 career guidance and assistance with education and career planning.
• Collaborate with workforce team for program planning and outcomes.
• Lead youth outreach and build partnerships to support recruitment.
• Coordinate GED attainment and tutoring services as needed.
• Complete written documentation and reports for funders.
