Job summary

Phipps Houses is seeking a WIOA Train & Earn Case Manager in the Bronx, NY. You will meet with participants, address barriers to completion, and coordinate referrals while maintaining accurate data entry for the team.

The role involves supporting outreach, recruitment, workshops, and post-program placements, with a focus on helping youth achieve positive outcomes. Strong collaboration and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Human Services or related field.
• Master’s degree or substantial professional development in a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a case manager or comparable role.

Responsibilities

• Assess each applicant for program fit and support addressing barriers to program completion.
• Complete a detailed intake assessment and design a corresponding service plan in collaboration with each qualifying applicant. Complete necessary enrollment paperwork.
• Meet with program participants regularly to discuss barriers to program completion leading to a post program outcome.
• Support in making external referrals to other service providers as necessary and ensure participants follow through with all referrals.
• Complete exit steps at the end of each cohort and assist with the placement into positive outcomes for all youth.
• Assist in identifying and developing services and programs not currently being offered.
