Job summary

Phipps is seeking a WIOA Train & Earn Case Manager in the Bronx, NY, to support youth navigating barriers to employment. The role includes regular participant meetings, intake assessments, and coordinating referrals to service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 5-7 years’ experience in a case manager or comparable role.
• Experience working with Youth/Young adults who are OSOW and barriers to employment.
• Familiarity with public and nonprofit organizations serving this population.

Responsibilities

• Assess applicants for program fit and address barriers to completion.
• Complete intake assessments and design service plans with enrollment paperwork.
• Meet with participants regularly to discuss barriers to completion and post-program outcomes.
• Support external referrals and ensure follow-through with referrals.
• Complete exit steps and assist with post-cohort placements.
• Identify and develop services not currently offered.
