Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Youth Worker Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND/SEMH setting in Walker. The role focuses on supporting pupils with emotional regulation, social skills and engagement in learning. You will build relationships, provide guidance, and maintain consistency in challenging situations.

The position involves 1:1 and small group work, promoting confidence and resilience while helping pupils overcome barriers to learning in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Background in youth work or related experience in educational settings.
• Ability to support emotional regulation and social development.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding checks and training.
