Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona is hiring an Extended Foster Care Success Coach to work in our state-wide program. You will engage directly with young adults ages 17.5-21, providing advocacy, skills development, care coordination, and resources for independence.

You will coach youth on setting goals, navigating service systems, and building essential life skills, housing, and career plans, with travel across counties to meet youth where they are and to utilize local resources.

Qualifications

• The ability to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with possible weekend activities.
• A high school diploma with experience working with transitional aged youth.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Experience with systems of care for youth aged 18-24.
• At least 24 years of age.
• Personal vehicle with insurance for daily youth meetings.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling, documentation and travel.
• Clean five-year motor vehicle history and Arizona driver's license.
• Level one fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain one before starting.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with young adults 17.5-21 to provide advocacy, skills development, care coordination and resources.
• Coach youth on goal setting, navigating services, communicating with the team and life skills.
• Travel across multiple counties to meet youth where they are and utilize local resources.
• Support life skills, housing and career paths using agency coaching models and youth-led frameworks.
