Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience in youth services, housing programs, or case management may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years working with youth experiencing homelessness, transitional housing, or related social services.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care, Housing First, Positive Youth Development, and harm reduction approaches.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transitional housing facility, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.
• Enforce program policies, house rules, and participant agreements while maintaining a trauma-informed and youth-centered approach.
• Conduct unit inspections and coordinate maintenance requests, ensuring compliance with local housing codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain case notes and documentation in the agency's case management system, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
• Provide individualized case management services, including housing stability planning, life skills development, education and employment assistance, and referrals to supportive services.
• Support participants in securing permanent housing by assisting with applications, landlord engagement, and housing navigation.
• Connect youth to community-based resources such as mental health services, substance use treatment, healthcare, education, and employment programs.
• Facilitate life skills workshops, including budgeting, tenant rights and responsibilities, conflict resolution, and job readiness.
