Job summary

Covenant House Missouri is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to provide goal-oriented support and direct care for youth aged 16 to 24 in the Residential Center. You will supervise daily activities, lead life skills and group activities, manage logs, and transport youth as needed, while upholding CHMO policies and trauma-informed care principles.

Qualifications

• AA degree in health and/or human services or related field.
• HS diploma or GED and one or more years of youth-based, or related services experience.
• College degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth in the Residential Center.
• Administer and record resident medication.
• Lead group activities and life skills training.
• Complete log notes daily in youth records.
• Transport youth to appointments and activities.
• Support implementation of CHMO service philosophies: Housing First, trauma-informed care.
