Job summary

Yellowstone Boys & Girls Ranch seeks a Program Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team serving youth with emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric needs. The role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy in schools, homes or community settings.

You will work with families and schools, participate in CST/IEP processes, and ensure compliance with Montana Medicaid and YBGR licensure rules. Telehealth is available as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required in psychology, social work, or counseling from an accredited university.
• Current Montana licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health professional.
• Ability to work with youth and families in multiple settings and modes.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family therapy to youth in school, community or home settings.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans based on diagnoses.
• Engage with parents/guardians and caregivers to support progress.
• Deliver services in person and via telehealth as needed.
• Intervene calmly in crises while ensuring safety of youth and staff.
• Complete required paperwork and PQI-quality documentation.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and attend meetings with schools and agencies.
